That said, if this box set doesn't get you grooving in your room or draw in the crowds as you test the bass threshold of your car stereo whilst driving through town, then heaven help you. The only one criticism (and it is minor) is that the set isn't definitive, with the obvious lack of Augustus Pablo tracks somewhat affecting the release's overall potentcy. Instrumental B-Sides to reggae classics, one-off acetates and Rasta rhythms are all represented, with even the odd bit of comedy thrown in for good measure (c.f: the openings to Sly and The Revolutionaries startling dub plates). The entire back catalogue is of a uniform design being in that each release comes in a cardboard clamshell box with. Every box set was released in limited quantities and are now only available second hand. Featuring some of the greatest names ever to sit at a mixing desk - Lee 'Scratch' Perry and his Upsetters, Gregory Issacs, King Tubby and Tommy McCook - the fifty tracks present here encompass the whole Jamaican dub spectrum.
